Notre Dame's Quarter back, Riley Leonard, has been selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round of the draft.

Leonard is not just your average football player. With his unique running style and impressive record of 36 career rushing touchdowns, including a whopping 17 during last year's run to the championship game, he's a force to be reckoned with on the field. But what truly sets Leonard apart is his love for the game and his unquenchable thirst for knowledge.

This passion has only grown through his interactions with well-known figures like Shane Steichen and Philip Rivers during his pre-draft process. In fact, Leonard has been training with these two veterans, soaking up their expertise and insights on the game.

Shane Steichen had nothing but praise for Leonard, particularly when it comes to his athletic abilities. "I just think the athletic ability that he has at the quarterback position, what he was able to do at Notre Dame this year, leading them to the national championship (game) speaks volumes of the player and the competitor that he is," Steichen said.

Leonard's performance at Notre Dame certainly left a lasting impact, and his natural leadership qualities shined as he led his team to the national championship game. His abilities as a quarterback are truly remarkable, and it's clear that he has a bright future ahead with the Colts.

Leonard himself is overjoyed to be returning to Indiana. "There's no place I would rather be than back in Indiana," he said.

With Leonard joining the Colts, fans are eager to see how his unique skills and passion for the game will contribute to the team's success. As he begins this new chapter of his career, one thing is certain: Leonard is a player to watch.
